Senior Pastor, Mike Jaskilka, has been at Berean Baptist Church since
1994. Previously, he'd been pastor of churches in Scio, Tigard, and
Portland, Oregon before coming to Eugene. He has a Th. M. degree from
Western Baptist Seminary in Portland and a D. Min. from Gordon-Conwell
Seminary in Massachusetts.
After graduation from college, Mike served as a Marine Lieutenant in Viet
Nam. Shortly after his return from Vietnam in 1970, he trusted
Christ as his savior. He enjoys hunting, fishing and many sports. He
and his wife Jan have been married since 1971 and have four children.

Pet Peeve: Nominative case pronouns used when the objective case is
correct. Example: Bill gave the tickets to John and I.
JOSH KINTIGH
Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries

Josh grew up at Berean Baptist Church and was part of the youth
group. He graduated from Marist High School in 2000. He moved to Salem and
attended Western Baptist College (now Corban College). He graduated in
2004 with a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies.
Since college, Josh worked at Morning Star Church in
Salem as a High School Intern. He also completed some courses at Western
Seminary. Josh began at Berean on April 5th, 2006. Josh married his wife, Anna on June 17th, 2006. He and Anna are expecting their first child in August.
Interests: Disc golf, surfing, playing guitar,
riding bikes, basketball, fishing
