Berean makes an attempt to create a worship
experience that appeals to all ages and church backgrounds. The is
especially truly in the music portions of the service. Jim Hallwyler, Minister of Music, chooses music every week that not only
compliments the teaching, but blends traditional and contemporary music
as well. So, in any service, you're likely to sing a hymn that
you've been singing for years, AND a praise song that might only have
been written recently.
Berean also uses Worship Teams to assist in
creating an exciting and effective music program. So, if you are
interested in helping to lead worship, this is a good place to do it.
If you play an instrument, Berean has a place
for you as well, as we attempt to use as much live music as possible.
In either case, Music Team, or as a part of the instrumental team, you
don't need to make a weekly commitment, many team members serve only
once a month.
Finally, almost every Sunday Morning service
includes special music of some type. Sometimes it's vocal,
sometimes it's instrumental. In addition to soloists, there are
always folks in the church looking to form duets, trios, quartets, and
more.
So, no matter what your musical talent level,
Berean has a place for you. Contact Jim Hallwyler with any
questions.
